Ariel Community Development Fund invites applications for human rights, education, environment, or economic development programs

Ariel Community Development Fund strategically partners with local groups to bring positive change within their communities. Our goal is to build relationships and work together to provide resources to those who are bringing opportunity and services and helping grow existing assets in the community. 

To that end, Ariel Community Development invites applications for its grant program, which will award up to $5,000 to support a project in the human rights, economic development, environment, or education sector. 

Our focus and priority will include projects that work towards one or more of the following:

• securing basic and fundamental human rights, including, right to life, freedom from slavery and torture, and freedom from discrimination,
• increasing access to and quality of education for vulnerable groups,
• empowering vulnerable people to provide for themselves, their families and communities, or 
• protecting, renewing and restoring the Earth. 

Eligibility Requirements and Guidelines:
The project must be in the human rights, economic development, environment, or education sector.
The applicant must be in relationship with a member of Ariel Core or Council.
There are no geographic restrictions for this grant. 
Grantees will be expected to put together an implementation plan and present it to Ariel Community Development before funding is sent.
Grantees are required to send reports to Ariel Community Development, including performance reports and pictures/videos (when appropriate). 

Grant decisions will be made by October 31, 2023.
